The Dude occasionally loves to spend a few hours just rockin’ out with the music at Case del The Dude, and with the advent of Ye Olde Informatik Oxtrail, the options are limitless- besides streaming the local iTunes library to the stereo, there are a couple of other applications that come in handy- Airfoil which can stream arbitrary audio to the stereo (sourced from video, system output, etc), and Radioshift, which functions like a more flexible/powerful version of iTunes’ radio, in that the selection is much wider, and you can schedule to record various shows (such as Dr. Demento) and then listen to them at your convenience (or throw them on your iPod). So, if you’ve got a hankering for some Romanian pop music, Jaysan, you can totally listen to it, and even record it for your friends! 😉 100 Quatloos to the first person to correctly identify the origin (title and artist) of the song lyrics quoted on the title line without looking it up (ie. cheating).
