Attila, Genghis, and Hannibal are playing outside in the warm (hot) weather, the AKO is working her magic, and The Dude thought it would be fun to post a little sumthin’ sumthin’ in the meantime. The Dude has been trying to catch up on all the news, shows, books, movies, documentaries, and everything else that has been accumulating in his mental “To-Do” list, and failing miserably. How wonderful that we live in a world with so many amazing things to educate, inform, and entertain us, but damn if it isn’t a lot of work. Fire and Fury: Inside the Trump White House by Michael Wolff was a recent read, and a fascinating take on how folks “behind the scenes” viewed well publicized events. Wolff’s prose certainly provided some insight on how various players (Bannon, Kushner, etc.) all interact with the President and try to influence his decisions, and gave additional context into the personality of the man who, for better or worse, is chief executive of the United States. Definitely worth the time spent. The Expanse on SciFi is must see TV, as watching the beloved books hit the screen is simply all sorts of awesome- you owe it to yourself to give it a shot. Similarly Westworld on HBO is worth your effort– although The Dude finds himself constantly rooting against the robot protagonists. Until next time.
