The Dude was driving home earlier in the week from work, and saw no less than six speed traps during the commute. Side streets, on ramps, center islands, the bases of hills, every trick in the book. It was a beautiful day, so perhaps the sunny weather was supposed to inspire drivers to put the pedal to the metal in an effort to get home and enjoy it? Regardless of intent, The Dude didn’t see anyone actually pulled over, so perhaps Metro Area Law Enforcement were looking for something else but it still seemed a little… excessive.
