Yes Yes YES, faithful readers! It’s that time of year again, where the Paranoid you know and love starts giving away MAD Quatloos in yet another contest!!! We’re doing Name That Tune again, but with a bit of a twist- all the songs have been selected by Apple’s Geniuses from The Dude’s Library of 4,759 songs as having a relationship with this week’s song- it could be genre, time period, shared the Billboard Top 100 at the same time, or any number of other things. In a practical sense, they will be 80s, 90s, or 00s songs (there had to be SOME limits), and in the same musical style. There will be weekly (gasp!) posts, rather than the irregular schedule as done in the past. How is this wondrous thing coming to pass? The Dude has already selected one year’s worth of songs, and scheduled them on a calendar. New Posts will happen on Sundays and the song will be valid for guesses until the following Saturday. As always— no cheating (ie. looking it up on “The Source” as Big Daddy calls it, “Ye Olde Informatik Oxtrail” as The Dude calls it, or “My Invention” as Al Gore calls it).
