The Dude decided to take some time this weekend post another contest entry. Seasons are starting to change, school is restarting (although there are significant challenges), and a major election is less than two months away. Sometimes it feels overwhelming– but one of the silver linings to the 2020 dumpster fire is being able to spend so much time with the family. AKO, Atilla, Genghis, and Hannibal are all playing around with Ye Informatik Oxtrail since the weather has cooled today, but we’ve been out to state parks, went on bike rides, hosted a family Olympics competition, and other events this summer, which were all great fun, and we enjoyed ourselves, even if the scope of our travel has narrowed due to the global pandemic. Do we miss going out and about and not having to worry about crowds, and masks, and all the other stressors we’re dealing with? Of course! But like the song says– sometimes you have to just enjoy the little things.
