For those who enjoy waiting in line for flights as much as The Dude does, Privacy International has announced the 2006 Stupid Security Awards. Past winners include Delta Terminal at JFK Airport for forcing a nursing mother to drink her own breast milk in order to prove it was what she said it was, and ’not explosives’, and San Francisco’s General hospital for guarding the front entrance with armed guards that required photo ID for entry. Of course, they didn’t guard any of the other entrances, and because SF General is the top hospital for the homeless and poor, caused considerable confusion as the ID-less people who entered through the side corridors wandered aimlessly in an attempt to find someone to help them.
